Secchia Springs

Passo del Cerreto

hike description

One of the most visited parts of the Park and there's no question why! The first part of the trail is flat and passes by rugged mountains and numerous streams that form the first stretch of the Secchia river. Then at the Passo dell'Ospedalaccio (Ospedalaccio Passage) begins a loop up the side of a mountain that leads to the enchanted Secchia Springs. This is a very scenic hike that isn't too difficult or time consuming.

recommend route

At the Albergo Ristorante parking lot you'll see a sign and map for this route. Begin your hike here taking trail 00. This will lead to Passo dell'Ospedalaccio, which begins the loop. We recommend turning right on trail 675 and taking this to the springs. After the springs, this trail will end at 671. Continue on this route until you return back to the beginning of the loop.
